About

ActionAid India is a national development organization committed to social justice, focusing on the rights of marginalized communities. Since its establishment in 1979, it has been working across 25 states and three Union Territories through 13 project offices. The organization is governed by an independent General Assembly and a Governing Board. Its mission is to work in solidarity with the poor and excluded, participating in their struggle to eradicate poverty, patriarchy, and injustice.
